Houston Firm Wins Minority Technology Firm of the Year Award

HOUSTON, October. 23, 2008 — The Houston Minority Business Enterprise Center, partly funded by the Minority Business Development Agency (http://www.mbda.gov), awarded Hydus, Inc. (http://www.hydus.com) the “Technology Firm of the Year” award at the 26th Annual MED Week 2008. Indira Vishnampet, CEO and Founder of Hydus, Inc. accepted the award on behalf of Hydus. 

Minority Enterprise Development Week (MED Week) was designated in 1983 by a presidential proclamation to recognize and promote the achievements of minority owned businesses.  The theme for this year’s MED Week is “The Power of Strategic Alliances in the Global Economy”.
