In a distributed environment, events can be processed concurrently on different servers to scale/improve the performance. The concurrent processing of events could break the order of the events. It is often required to track a transaction status or an event through the end-to-end business process. Process Monitor (PM) enables tracking through dynamic reporting on the status of transactions throughout the business process. PM provides a drag-and-drop user interface (UI) for defining the business process to specify which transactions need to be monitored. PM then applies the transaction information stored by the Transaction Manager to the process definition. This results in the exact status of the transactions from an end-to-end process perspective.
